Once all the information has been provided through the online application Quickcheck4U will submit the police check request to the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC). You can read more about this service at the following URL: www.acic.gov.au/our-services/national-police-checks
The application will then go through an automated name based search process.
If the automated process indicates that further checking is required the application is sent to the police agency for review. This may mean results will not be returned within 2 or 3 days. 30% of checks go through this manual process and take longer than expected to process. Results may not be available for ten or more days.
Once results are recived from ACIC, we will prepare and send a clearance certificate to the email address you have provided in your application.
Any information missing from the application or if certified copies of identification documents have not been provided, the application process cannot commence. If this is the case we will write to you and let you know what is needed.
Certified copies are those that have been certified by a JP or other qualified person as a true copy of the original documents. A full list of people who can certify your documents is contained in our FAQ section.
