About Suncare

Established in 1970 Suncare has a proud and long history of providing community services across Queensland.

If you are an individual, carer or family member looking for services, Suncare is here to empower you to access care, support, information and referral services that you feel may make life a little easier. 

Your caring role could see you offering support to a friend or family member who is frail aged, living with a mental illness or disability. If you’re considering counselling, respite, or you’d simply like to meet others who know what it feels like to be in a similar situation, then Suncare can help you to make that happen.

With ten Queensland offices spanning metropolitan, regional and rural locations from Rockhampton to Toombul, you can access Suncare for community care that aims to help you remain living fully engaged within your own community – wherever you’re located.

We act as your personal advocate, so we will be led by you and your carer/s as to how we can best tailor a solution for the issues or concerns you bring to us. Led by you, we will take a flexible and innovative approach that’s unafraid to draw on the skills and resources of other community groups or programs. After all, you are an individual and we will only be satisfied when you feel you have the best team around you.
